Summary view in The Bat! v6.2

We present an upd ated version of our email client The Bat! v6.2 which introduces the summary view:



The main goal of the new view is to present messages’ summary in a compact and information-rich mode. Looking through the list of messages you can quickly get an idea of what the contents of particular messages are without invoking them. The Bat! is smart to omit greetings, quotes and display only the relevant text. Contacts with photos will be visually identified quicker than the rest, other senders will get distinctive initials.

To switch to that view you need to activate the “Switch to summary view when narrower than” option under the “Options\Preferences\Message List” menu. Then se t the value upon which this option will come into action.



The user can individually adjust the settings to get a comfortable view. It is possible to se t a fixed width of the folder contents view pane in pixels or se t a relative value which will be defined by the size of the preview area relative either to the program’s window size or the screen size.
